Batch Settings, Next Day Funding and Batch Emails

Batch credit card processing, or “batching”, is when a merchant processes the day’s worth of credit card transactions at the close of the business day, or at another specified time.

All BlockChyp merchants are set up to close their daily batch automatically, by default.

The cutoff time for next-day deposit is 10:45pm Eastern Standard Time.

If your account is set to send your batch by 10:45pm EST, the funds will be released to your deposit account for next-day funding. However, if you have configured the batch time to be after 10:45pm EST, the funds will be released on the following business day.

Question: When will I receive my funding for batches processed over the weekend?

Answer: With our sponsor bank, Pinnacle Bank, dba Synovus Bank, weekend processing follows a specific timeline for Monday deposits.

If you close your batch on Sunday, or after 10:45 PM ET on Saturday night, your funds will be deposited after 1:30 PM ET on Monday. (Previously, these funds may have appeared earlier in the morning.) Please allow until Monday afternoon for these weekend batches to fully clear and post to your bank account.

To review or configure your batch time:
  • Select SETTINGS from the top-right corner.
